The Zurich based band seems to have fallen out of time, because Los Billtones have a very precise idea of how they want to sound: Like the Jamaican rocksteady formations from the 60s and 70s, in the time when early reggae gradually emerged from ska. Rich riddims, soulful vocals and glowing dancefloors. Their inspiration comes directly from the big rocksteady names of that time like The Paragons, Keith&Tex or the young Bob Marley.
